Yes. Ed Westwick, who plays Chuck Bass on "Gossip Girl", is in the country right now and is working with local fashion brand Penshoppe. Penshoppe has chosen the Hollywood actor as its lead endorser for its 25th-anniversary pre-Holiday 2011 to Summer 2012 collection.

"His charisma will definitely prove that what is originally a Philippine-made product can also be worn proudly by an internationally-famous icon as well as other people around the world. He will embody the free and easy sophisticated casual style that Penshoppe is known for," Penshoppe brand director Alex Mendoza said as posted on the official Facebook Fan page of the clothing line.

The British actor arrived in Manila Tuesday night and will be here until Friday. He will be having a private party tonight in an 'Empire' hotel (that's the only clue Noypi got about the secret venue).

Ed Westwick, 23, is internationally known for his sexy bad boy character, Chuck Bass, in the hit American TV series "Gossip Girl." He is also set to do the remake of "Romeo and Juliet" where he took the role of Tybalt and will star in an upcoming Clint Eastwood movie "J. Ed Westwick, Chuck Bass of "Gossip Girl", has arrived in Manila, Philippines late Tuesday night.

Ed Westwick is here in the country to shoot for Penshoppe's 25th-anniversary pre-Holiday 2011 to Summer 2012 collection. The local clothing brand has chosen the English actor as its lead endorser.

The Hollywood actor will be having a press conference tomorrow and will start shooting with Australian fashion photographer Darren Tieste in cooperation with international publicity firm PR Asia Worldwide on June 4. He will be in the country until Friday.

Ed Westwick, 23, is internationally known for his sexy bad boy character, Chuck Bass, in the hit American TV series "Gossip Girl." He is also set to do the remake of "Romeo and Juliet" and star in an upcoming Clint Eastwood movie "J. Edgar."

The report was confirmed by Penshoppe through its Twitter account. Just a few hours ago, the tweet below was posted on the apparel brand's Twitter page:

"IT'S OFFICIAL: ED WESTWICK is the newest endorser of Penshoppe! follow us on twitter for updates xoxo."

The Hollywood actor's activities in the country include a press conference and a private party on June 2; and a 4-day shoot for Penshoppe which will begin on June 4.
