Born This Way - Lady Gaga | Music Video and Lyrics

The Mother Monster Lady Gaga just released a Monster music video of her newest Monster single, "Born This Way" which is already topping music and radio charts across the world.

It's almost like a mini movie with all the story-telling in its first part and its length - whew! 7 minutes and 20 seconds!

Oh well, I am a monster! I enjoyed it - so much! Another great job Mama Monster! :D

I am loving Lady Gaga more recently especially after her sweet conversation with her little monster Maria Aragon on the phone. :D

Check out the Monster video below:

Born This Way - Lady Gaga Lyrics

    [Intro]
It doesn't matter if you love him,
    Or capital H-I-M
    Just put your paws up
'cause you were born this way, baby

    [Verse 1]
My mama told me when I was young
    We are all born superstars

She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on
In the glass of her boudoir

"there's nothin wrong with lovin who you are"
She said, "'cause he made you perfect, babe"

"so hold your head up girl and you'll go far,
Listen to me when I say"

    [Chorus]
    I'm beautiful in my way
    'cause god makes no mistakes
I'm on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    Don't hide yourself in regret
Just love yourself and you're set
I'm on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    [Post-chorus]
Ooo there ain't no other way
Baby I was born this way
Baby I was born this way
Ooo there ain't no other way
    Baby I was born-
I'm on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    Don't be a drag - just be a queen
    Don't be a drag - just be a queen
    Don't be a drag - just be a queen
    Don't be!

    [Verse 2]
    Give yourself prudence
    And love your friends
    Subway kid, rejoice your truth

In the religion of the insecure
I must be myself, respect my youth

A different lover is not a sin
Believe capital h-i-m (hey hey hey)
I love my life I love this record and
Mi amore vole fe yah (love needs faith)

    [Chorus]
    I'm beautiful in my way
    'cause god makes no mistakes
I'm on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    Don't hide yourself in regret
Just love yourself and you're set
I'm on the right track baby
    I was born this way

Ooo there ain't no other way
Baby I was born this way
Baby I was born this way
Ooo there ain't no other way
    Baby I was born-
I'm on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    [Bridge]
Don't be a drag, just be a queen
    Whether you're broke or evergreen
You're black, white, beige, chola descent
    You're lebanese, you're orient
    Whether life's disabilities
Left you outcast, bullied, or teased
    Rejoice and love yourself today
'cause baby you were born this way

No matter gay, straight, or bi,
    Lesbian, transgendered life
I'm on the right track baby
    I was born to survive
No matter black, white or beige
    Chola or orient made
I'm on the right track baby
I was born to be brave

    [Chorus]
    I'm beautiful in my way
    'cause god makes no mistakes
I'm on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    Don't hide yourself in regret
Just love yourself and you're set
I'm on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    [Outro]
I was born this way hey!
I was born this way hey!
I'm on the right track baby
I was born this way hey!

I was born this way hey!
I was born this way hey!
I'm on the right track baby
I was born this way hey!

Paquito Diaz is still alive! ABS-CBN says sorry for reporting Paquito Diaz dead! | Paquito Diaz Death Rumor

"Erratum: We inadvertently reported earlier that actor Paquito Diaz passed away. We apologize for the mistake"

This ends the 5:45PM, February 27 update of an ABS-CBNNews.com report with the heading "Paquito Diaz's family denies death rumor". The newly updated report clarifies that actor Paquito Diaz is still alive.

Courtesy of ABS-CBNNews.com here's the full report:

MANILA, Philippines (1st UPDATE) – The daughter of Paquito Diaz on Sunday refuted a newspaper report that the veteran actor passed away.

According to the report, which came out Sunday morning, the 73-year-old actor passed away on Saturday in Albay.

Diaz's daughter, Joanna Diaz-Gallent, said her father is still alive. She added that rumors of her father's death have spread around in the past.

“It’s ok. Mag-one month na kami tinetext na he's dead na daw. Sanay na kami," she said in a text message sent to ANC.

Jean Balagtas, daughter of action film director Jose “Kaka” Balagtas and official secretary of the Katipunan ng mga Artista ng Pelikulang Pilipino at Telebisyon (KAPPT), also denied reports that Diaz has died.

“Hindi po totoo ang balita. Nakausap po ng mga taga-Actors Guild si Joko at sinabi niya mismo na hindi patay ang kanyang ama,” informed Balagtas.

Joko, a son of Diaz, is a member of KAPPT board of directors.

In 2002, Diaz suffered a stroke, causing his health to deteriorate. He was recently rushed to a hospital in Bicol because of an illness.

Diaz, also known as Kits in show business, is confined at the Estevez Memorial Hospital in Legazpi City, Albay.

The actor, Francisco Bustillos Diaz in real life, was born on May 28, 1937 in Pampanga.

Diaz was introduced in the movie “Son of Fung Ku.” He has done hundreds of films but gained iconic status as the villain in many films with the late Fernando Poe Jr. –ANC and Boy Villasanta, abs-cbnNEWS.com

(Erratum: We inadvertently reported earlier that actor Paquito Diaz passed away. We apologize for the mistake)

The original news report was written at 3:25 PM and the update came out at 5:45PM. At 12:00 AM today, Pilipino Star Ngayon also reported the death of the actor which again is just a rumor. I wonder if it is the 'newspaper' that the above ABS-CBN report pertains to.

Here's a screenshot of the Pilipino Star Ngayon Report:

Hmmmmm.. Issue... Issue... I hope noone gets to be fired from work after this.

Filipino-Americans Clint Jun Gamboa, Thia Megia join American Idol 10 Top 24!

American Idol Season 10 is getting more exciting for Noypi viewers since 2 of our "kababayans" made it to the Top 24!

credits to the owner(s) of the photos

Clint Jun Gamboa, a 26 year-old karaoke bar host, and Thia Megia, a 15 year-old student, have both proven that they have the potential of becoming the next American Idol. They have been selected as 2 of the 24 finalists of the show who will perform live next week.

Clint Jun Gamboa is from Long Beach, California. He said to have won one of the biggest karaoke contests in Southern California, 2 years in a row. He also wrote a song for the 2003 movie, "The Room".

Stigma still surrounds Clint Jun after the Jacee Badeaux incident (read here) but he has been showing that he got what it takes to be the next Idol. Noone can't deny that he got a powerful voice.

Mountain House, California resident Thia Megia previously joined "America's Got Talent" where she was a quarterfinalist. She also appeared on The Filipino Channel (TFC) after the talent competition. She started writing her own songs as early as 6 years old.

Thia's American Idol journey has been flawless so far. The judges seem to like the amazing talent of the teenager.

Although I find it annoying sometimes since some are exaggerating when they use it, but Clint and Thia are truly Filipino Pride. I wish them all the luck in the world since they already got the talent. :D

Carla Abellana, JC Intal Scandal hits online? (Photos)

The beautiful Kapuso actress Carla Abellana and ex-boyfriend PBA player JC Intal said to have scandal photos circulating in the internet!

I immediately searched info about them and found out that the said scandal pics are nothing but a couple of years old kissing photos of the then in love couple, Carla Abellana and JC Intal.

Lol. I don't even think there is anything scandalous about the pictures since they are just showing what lovers usually do when they show their affection to each other - couples kiss.

Nevertheless, if you're a fan, the pictures might give you some 'kilig'. :D

Check out the said "Carla Abellana, JC Intal Scandal Photos" below:

Carla Abellana and JC Intal had long been 'separated'. Carla is now dating Geoff Eigenmann. While, JC Intal, is courting Bianca Gonzales.

Ruffa Gutierrez bares sexy body in new Belo billboard ad

Miss World 1993 Second Princess Ruffa Gutierrez said that she is ready for whatever response she is going to get regarding her upcoming Belo Medical Group billboard ad which she has done shooting a couple of days ago.

"Ready na ako. Pinaghirapan ko itong shoot na ito. And hindi lang ako nagpa-body-tight kay Dra. [Vicki] Belo, pero talagang nag-workout ako."

"I believe kasi na hindi mo lang puwedeng iasa sa isang bagay ang pagpapaganda ng katawan. You also have to eat right, be healthy, and work out especially, di ba, kahit ano ang gawin mo, kung hindi ka naman fit and you don't feel good about yourself, walang mangyayari. Walang long-term result na makikita. So, it's not a one process lang, it's an everyday process."

"So, handang-handa na ako para sa shoot na ito. And I'm sure kapag lumabas na yung mga billboards sa aming launch next month, talagang masisindak sila kasi first time ko itong mag-swimsuit sa pictorial after having my two daughters," Ruffa told Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP)

The billboard ad said to have a sexy and daring concept in time for the coming Summer season. It will be out on the second week of March and will be seen first in the Guadalupe area.

Angel Aquino, Lui Villaruz call it quits

The year might have started with hot celebrity hook-ups and lovely weddings of famous personalities in show business. But as what we know about the nature of the industry, it's not gonna be all fairy tales all year round. In fact, a 4-year long romance has just ended.

Model turned actress Angel Aquino confirmed recently that she and longtime boyfriend TV personality-businessman Lui Villaruz have called it quits.

When asked whether there was a third party involved, Angel Aquino was quick to say,

"Of course, in his part, maybe he's hurt about something. But as far as I know... and concerned, there's no third party involved. Wala po talaga. I'm not with anyone else. I did not have any relationship with someone else while with Lui," Angel told the press during the 5th "Us Girls" Anniversary presscon held earlier this week.

Angel, 38, clarified that it is not her first break-up with Lui, 34.

"Kami ni Lui we would be on and off, in those four years, but we just wouldn't tell people. Kasi para sa amin, di naman kailangan, di ba? Parang... then when you meet someone and people seeing you with another person, that's it, and you want to talk about it, then you talk about it. Pero hindi na namin ia-announce na, 'O hindi na kami ni Lui.' Kasi you're inviting intrigue pa, e."

However, it seems like the split is for good since Angel also revealed that Lui is currently dating 'Miss Earth'.

"Sabi niya, 'O, bago mo marinig sa iba, sasabihin ko na sa iyo na I'm dating Miss Earth.' And I'm happy for him. I'm very, very, very, very happy for him." Wala raw siyang ideya kung current o past Miss Earth title holder ang dine-date ngayon ng ex-boyfriend. Hindi na raw siya nagtanong at wala talaga siyang balak pang mag-text back dito."

In 2009, it has been reported that Angel and Lui were discussing marriage.

New Zealand Earthquake 2011 Update: Death toll rises to 65

The largest city in the South Island of New Zealand, Christchurch continues to feel the devastation brought about by the 6.3 magnitude earthquake which struck the area at 12:51 p.m. (local time) on Tuesday, February 22. The country's Prime Minister John Key said the death toll now has risen to at least 65.

Seventeen casualties had been reported earlier by civil defence authorities. The number of deaths is expected to rise since some people are still reportedly trapped in buildings.

Here's an excerpt of a New Zealand Herald report detailing the catastrophic event:

    Shallow quake

GNS Science said today's quake was centred at Lyttelton at a depth of 5km at 12.51pm.

GNS said the earthquake would have caused more damage than the original 7.1 earthquake on September 4 because of its shallow depth.

Its data centre manager Kevin Fenaughty said residents said the quake's epicentre was located in the "worst possible location" for the city.

"It's a nightmare. A lot of people were just getting back on their feet after the original quake."

Another earthquake of 4.5 struck at 1.21pm, 10 km east of Diamond Harbour.

    Streets flooded

Herald reporter Jarrod Booker said the shake lasted approximately one minute and was extremely violent - rocking buildings back and forth.

He said people had left buildings and were out on the streets where tarmac had cracked and water mains had burst, causing extensive flooding.

Tuam Street had become a river as water poured from ruptures in the road and was impassable in places.

The whole central city was in grid lock as people tried to evacuate central businesses to check their homes, Jarrod Booker said.

Most traffic lights were out and cars were also having to negotiate around hordes of people on foot.

Jarrod Booker said that he could hear sirens but that it would be difficult for emergency services to access the city because of the gridlock.

"Even sitting in a car you can feel continual shaking on a smaller scale than the original quake," he said.

Some pedestrians were standing on the footpaths and staring into space, apparently in shock.

    'Great confusion'

Mayor Bob Parker said he was "thrown quite a distance" by the earthquake.

"That was, in the city central anyway, as violent as the one that happened on the 4th of September," he told Radio New Zealand.

Mr Parker said there were scenes of "great confusion" on the streets, also saying the roads were jammed as vehicles sought to get out of the central city.

"I know of injuries in my building and there are unconfirmed reports of serious injuries in the city."

Mr Parker did not know the extent of damage to the city's infrastructure, but advised people not to drink the water supply.

"We've been through this before this once, we now need to think we did at that time."

    Buildings collapsed

Jarrod Booker said Christchurch's historic cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on Barbadoes Street had half collapsed, with the remaining part of the building filled with cracks.

There was huge damage to other older buildings with large amounts of debris falling to the ground, he said.

He said the carpark at the Christchurch Star had turned into a river with huge cracks and that the roads had risen in areas.

People were comforting people outside amid a general state of shock as they tried to absorb what had happened, he said.

Radio New Zealand reported widespread damage to the city centre, with a church on Durham St collapsed and concrete lifted by up to a metre.

TV3 reported the Provincial Chambers Building had collapsed and it was believed people were trapped inside.

A listener told Newstalk ZB that the Piko Wholefoods building on Kilmore Street near the city centre, which was hit in the September 4 earthquake, was now "practically non-existent".

The spire on the Christchurch Cathedral had also collapsed.

A man said he and 19 other colleagues are trapped in Christchurch's Forsyth Barr building on Colombo Street.

Gary Moore told NZPA workers were stuck on the 12th floor as the stairwell had collapsed. He was not sure if people were trapped on other floors.

People were in a state of shock but were not injured and he urged NZPA to let somebody know.

He described the first quake and the aftershocks as catastrophic.

"We watched the cathedral collapse out our window while we were holding onto the walls."

"Every aftershock sends us rushing under the desks. It's very unnerving but we can clearly see there are other priorities out the window. There has been a lot of damage and I guess people are attending to that before they come and get us," he said.

A Newstalk ZB reporter in Christchurch said liquefaction was spewing out of the ground at St Albans High School.

School children had to be removed from the fields with liquefaction also spewing from the tennis courts.
