El Gamma Penumbra is a group of "shadow play" performers whose audition on Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 was aired on July 30, 2011.

To the tune of the 2003 DOT tourism advocacy theme song "Biyahe Tayo!", El Gamma Penumbra from Tanauan, Batangas performed a refreshing "shadow play" act which captivated the judges and the audience as well. They got three "yes's" from the judges, allowing them to advance to the next round of the competition.

Khalil Ramos of Pilipinas Got Talent Season

Khalil Ramos (Khalil Joseph Ramos) is a contestant of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3.

During his audition which was aired on July 30, 2011, 15 year-old Khalil Ramos sang Edwin Mccain's hit "I'll Be". He is off to the next round of the competition after getting jundges' "yes's".

Khalil Ramos is from Manila and is a third-year high school student at Colegio San Agustin Makati. His influences include Michael Jackson, David Cook, Journey and John Lennon.

Pilipinas Got Talent 2 finalists now complete

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 (PGT 2) list of finalists is now complete after the wild card results episode held earlier tonight proclaimed Rico the Magician and Skeights as the last two grand finalists for this season.


The selection of the wild card finalists which was a first on the show's history all over the world, was a bit different. The three contestants who garnered the most number of overnight votes were asked to perform again, while the voting lines were opened once more for people to vote in like an hour more. The Top 2 were then determined through the new results of text and online voting. The judges did not anymore choose their pick.

Again, Rico and Skeights won tonight's voting. Actress Zsa Zsa Padilla might have been disappointed with the results since she was campaigning for Joy's Diva, Rico, and Collins earlier. :D

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 to add wilcard contestants in the Grand Finals

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 (PGT 2) producers have decided to allow semi-finalists to battle for 2 more slots in the Grand Finals. First time in the show's history, it was announced during last night's results episode that a Wild Card Week will be held this coming weekend.

Six contestants from the previous semi-final rounds who failed to get the judges' votes will once again perform on the PGT 2 stage and charm the viewers since the decision of who the last 2 grand finalists would be will be solely based on the text votes. Pilipinas Got Talent 2: John Michael Narag and Filogram, off to the Grand Finals

During last night's results episode, 2 more Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 (PGT 2) grand-finalists were declared. They were John Michael Narag (text voting winner), a 16 year-old male singer from Pangasinan and Filogram (judges' pick), a dance crew from Baguio City. Comprising the 4th batch of the competition's grand-finalists, Ngarag and Filogram will battle it out in the Finale against the previous batches as well as the upcoming set of finalists.

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 has now become more exciting as its Grand Finals nears!

The competition is getting fierce as contestants give it their best in their performances each week. The 36 semi-finalists had previously been divided into groups of 6 where 2 from each group advance off to the next round, the Grand Finals, if they gain the most number of votes from the viewers or earn a 'save' vote from the judges if they place 2nd or 3rd in the text voting.

Pilipinas Got Talent 2 Semifinals: Angel Calalas, the Hula Hoop Tricker from Rizal (Video)

Pilipinas Got Talent 2's second batch of semi-finalists battled it out earlier on stage for a spot in the Grand Finals. Tonight's live episode showcased six contestants namely Virgilio Del Carmen, B4, Skeights, the Lapinid sisters, Fernan “Madonna Pianista” Santuyo and Angel Calalas.

For Noypi, the highlight of tonight's show would have to be the breathtaking hula hoop trick performed by 22-year-old Angel Calalas from Cainta, Rizal. Everyone was amazed when she used fire this time around which she did not during her audition. She was also lifted in air while doing the hula hoop! Whew! Since she was well received by many viewers as evidenced by several talks in social media sites, for sure, Angel of PGT 2 will get an instant spot on the Grand Finals through the text votes or maybe a 'save' from the judges if in case some other contestants would do better on SMS voting. If not, this would be another disappointment just like what many felt when Rico the Magician wasn't selected, last week. Whew!

Marcelito Po Moy, early favorite in Pilipinas Got Talent 2 (Video)

With more than 500 thousand total views of his audition video which was reposted by a number of users on Youtube as of this writing, 25-year old contestant Marcelito Po Moy is undeniably an early favorite in ABS-CBN's talent search franchise "Pilipinas Got Talent 2".


Marcelito Po Moy who is from Imus, Cavite amazed everyone with his Regine Velasquez-like voice despite the fact that he is a male. He sang Regine's "Narito Ako" which made the crowd crave for more. He was allowed to sing another song, this time "Sana Maulit Muli", to the grant audience's request.

When Ai-ai delas Alas made her comment, she also requested another song. And he sang a duet - "Hanggang Ngayon" by Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez! He was able to perform both the male and female parts well which impressed the judges.

Kris Aquino said, "Na-achieve mo ang something spectacular... namangha kaming lahat"

We will be seeing more of Marcelito since he is off to the next round. :D
