On yesterday's episode of "Party Pilipinas", Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez has finally admitted that she is having a baby.

"Alam kong marami na kayong naririnig pero syempre maganda rin na sa amin mismo manggaling kung ano talaga ang nangyayari. Totoo po na Ogie and I are going to have a baby," Regine said via a video message.

Regine also apologized for not saying a word about her pregnancy immediately.

"Pasensya na po kayo at hindi po namin agad sinabi. Hindi naman sa nililihim namin. But I was always getting sick, kaya minabuti namin na wag na muna magsalita para maayos ko muna yung sarili ko at yung ibang bagay na kailangan naming ayusin," Regine said.

"Pero ngayon po, clear na naman lahat at siguradong sigurado na rin po kami na it's true, we're going to have a baby, and it's a happy birthday gift for me," the singer-actress added.

Regine Velasquez is yet to confirm pregnancy

Although it has been reported in news sites like PhilStar and confirmed by an entertainment journalist on TV which instantly spread in the internet like wildfire, Regine Velasquez nor her husband Ogie Alcasid has not given a word on the said pregnancy yet.

Reports say that the singer-actress is 5 weeks pregnant which said to be the reason why she collapsed during a "Party Pilipinas" episode, a couple of weeks ago. Her doctor reportedly advised her to take it slow while working. However, according to an ABS-CBN report it was because of her recurrent migraine that she fainted.

Fainting is a sign of pregnancy but it does not necessarily mean that Regine is pregnant right?

Although I guess, the two journalists are quite credible as well.They would not be there if they're not credible enough.

Regine Velasquez expecting first child at 40

Entertainment columnist Jun Lalin recently confirmed that Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez is pregnant. He further revealed that Mrs. Alcasid is in her 5th week of pregnancy during the 1st anniversary episode of TV5's "Paparazzi" last Sunday.

Actress-host Ruffa Gutierrez also confirmed the report via Twitter:

“Wow Congratulations to Regine & Ogie! So happy for tme!:)” Ruffa tweeted.

Regine's condition was said to be the reason why the 40-year old singer-actress collapsed while doing "Party Pilipinas" a couple of weeks ago. Her doctor reportedly advised her to take it slow while working.

Regine Velasquez and husband actor-composer-singer Ogie Alcasid got married on December 22, 2010.

FYI: Pregnant women below the age of 18 and above 35 are very susceptible of complications of pregnancy. Regine must take her doctor's advices seriously then.
